Position Summary;
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s overall financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations in compliance with Rwandan tax laws.
- Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Assist in preparing audit documents and coordinating with external auditors.
- Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two to three (2-3) years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of Rwandan tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
